American Air Filter to Open Jeffersonville Facility

The $5.4 million AAF Flanders Clean Air Innovation and Research Center is expected to bring up to 25 jobs to the area by 2018.
American Air Filter says most of the new jobs will be research and development positions and are expected to pay more than 2.5 times more than the county’s average wage. The 33,000 square-foot facility, which can accommodate up to 40 employees, includes 25,000 square feet of lab, testing and storage space on the first floor.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. has offered the company up to $375,000 in conditional tax credits. The city of Jeffersonville has offered additional incentives as well.
The facility is set to open at 2:00 p.m. Monday.
