Alumni Gift to Benefit Manufacturing Lab in Winchester

The Randolph County School Corp. will Tuesday celebrate a $100,000 donation to the Advanced Manufacturing Lab at Winchester Community High School. The district says the funding will be used to purchase industrial precision manufacturing equipment for the lab.
The donation comes from a 1965 graduate of the high school, which was then known as Driver High School. In addition to the donation, the district will also provide details on a new scholarship that will be awarded annually to a Winchester Community High School senior to continue their vocational training in manufacturing.
The celebration will take place at the Towne Square Community Centre in Winchester.
