Alumni Association to Honor Prominent ISU Grads

Subscribe NowFour graduates of Indiana State University will be presented next month with 2015 Distinguished Alumni Awards from the school’s Alumni Association. Honorees include the first female instructor in the history of the U.S. Marshals Service, the patent-holder of the "morning-after pill" and a longtime chief bailiff of the Marion County Superior Court.
The recipients will be honored October 16 during a ceremony associated with Homecoming. They are:
- Ava Gore, Class of 1974
- Jerry Reel, Class of 1960
- Sam Dixon, Class of 1972 and Graduate Degree Class of 1982
- Frances Reece Kepner, Class of 1941
