California-based Alorica is set to make a jobs announcement today in Lafayette. The call center company plans to add more than 175 positions in Tippecanoe County and says it will also detail a partnership on a program supporting veterans.
Few other details were provided ahead of Thursday’s announcement. Alorica says it will provide more information on a new partnership with Military Veterans Project "to show concrete and tangible support for the military community in creating awareness of effects of PTSD and helping to prevent suicide among veterans."
Lafayette Mayor Tony Roswarski will join State Representative Sheila Klinker (D-27) and Alorica Director of Global PR Ken Muché for the announcement, which is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
