Albion Center Launches Capital Campaign

The Albion Fellows Bacon Center in Evansville has announced plans to expand in southern Indiana. The nonprofit, which provides services to victims of domestic and sexual violence, has launched a $1.5 million capital campaign to add to its existing facility and provide shelter to more people in need.
The organization says it has already raised more than $810,000 toward the campaign’s goal. The center provides 24-hour services to victims of abuse in 11 counties. When complete, the updated facility will be able to provide safe shelter for up to 48 people at one time, 12 more than its current capacity.
The campaign will also allow the center to enhance security for non-residential clients, which it says will allow for a more secure location for advocacy and crisis meetings. You can learn more about the campaign by clicking here.
