The Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority says a new rental car lot at Fort Wayne International Airport is ready to open. The group will hold a ribbon cutting to celebrate completion of the lot Wednesday. October 7, 2014

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — The Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority is conducting a ribbon cutting for the completion of the new rental car lot at Fort Wayne International Airport.

The new lot caters to an easier airport experience, featuring covered parking and a covered walkway just steps from the terminal building.

The new entrance for rental car return is located in front of the terminal alongside a second short-term entrance.

As part of the project, a new entrance in front of the terminal provides easier access from the parking lots to the terminal building.
