The American Heart Association has named Amanda Mills as its executive director in Indianapolis. Mills will oversee fundraising and community engagement initiatives in central Indiana. Mills has been with AHA for nearly nine years, with her most recently serving as Senior Director for Go Red for Women in Cincinnati. She also served AHA as a youth market director and a HeartChase director.

“Amanda is a thought-leader, an innovator, and a colleague who truly creates impact in every role she plays,” said Kevin Harker, executive vice president of the American Heart Association’s Midwest Region. “We are excited to see her step into this important leadership role.”

Mills holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice, Management and French from Simpson College.
