Indiana's food and agriculture innovation initiative AgriNovus has named Kip Tom to its executive steering committee. He is Chief Executive Officer of Tom Farms LLC and a member of the Indiana Economic Development Corp.'s board of directors.

Indianapolis, Ind. — AgriNovus Indiana announced Kip Tom, a member of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation’s Board of Directors, will join its Executive Steering Committee. AgriNovus Indiana is a strategic initiative comprised of individuals, businesses, universities and government leaders across Indiana's diverse food and agricultural sector. The organization is guided by an Executive Steering Committee comprised of key industry stakeholders and influencers who help guide the mission and vision of AgriNovus.

“Kip Tom is an invaluable addition to our organization,” said President and CEO of AgriNovus Indiana, Beth Bechdol. “His experience in agribusiness coupled with his service in the business community in various economic development endeavors and investments will be a great asset to AgriNovus and to the entire food and ag innovation sector.”

For nearly four decades Tom has been active in agribusiness operations in Indiana and abroad through Tom Farms, a family business that is a leader in agricultural crop production providing genetic, technologies and services globally to the agriculture industry. He currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Tom Farms LLC and is also the President of CereServ Inc. In addition to his business responsibilities, Tom serves on several boards including the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, Indiana Department of Agriculture, 246 Capital Investments, and the International Food and Agri-Business Managers Association.
