Advertising Firm Boosts Digital Operations

Subscribe NowFort Wayne-based Ferguson Advertising has announced plans to acquire web- and app-development agency Xymmetrix, also based in Fort Wayne. Financial details were not disclosed, however Ferguson says Xymmetrix’s nine full-time employees will join the firm’s digital team.
Ferguson says the Xymmetrix team will continue operate of it their office until the acquisition is complete. The firm plans to centralize its digital operations, which will include a total of 39 employees following the acquisition, out of its downtown Fort Wayne offices.
"At the same time we’ve been growing our in-house digital team over the past several years, we’ve also established a strong working partnership with Xymmetrix and its technical experience," said John Ferguson, president and co-owner of Ferguson Advertising. "As we worked together more and more, both sides realized a formal agreement made the most strategic, long-term sense for everyone involved, most importantly our clients. For us, it brings together the best of both worlds – Ferguson’s comprehensive traditional and digital marketing capabilities and Xymmetrix’s technology know-how and experience."
Xymmetrix was founded in 1995 and focuses on various digital services, including web design and development, e-commerce, app development and hosting. Founder Todd Eigenschink says he is excited for the future following the acquisition.
