Addiction Treatment Facility to Open in Indianapolis

Pennsylvania-based Recovery Centers of America will open a new 112-bed treatment center in Indianapolis this week. The company says the facility, which supports treatment and recovery of people battling opioid and alcohol addictions, will bring nearly 200 jobs to the area.
RCA says the facility will be its ninth inpatient addiction treatment center in Indianapolis.
“There is a desperate need for addiction treatment as Indiana’s substance use disorder problem, combined with the increased stress caused by the pandemic, continues to climb to critical levels,” said Stephanie Anderson, who will serve as chief executive officer of Recovery Centers of America at Indianapolis.
Previously, Anderson worked in healthcare as well as for the State of Indiana. While working for the state, RCA says Anderson worked within the Indiana Department of Correction and the Family and Social Services Administration.
RCA says the facility will use evidence-based practices and clinical expertise to deliver care for each patient’s needs. The center is licensed for detox, residential, and outpatient services.
