The Bloomington Economic Development Corp. will host a Demo Day Thursday for its pre-accelerator program. The event will conclude the inaugural session of B-Start, which helps student technology startups through the early stages of development.

Demo Day will allow nine B-Start teams to deliver a five-minute pitch for their startups. A panel of judges will review the pitches and previously-submitted business plans. The three highest-scoring startups will win prizes. Pennsylvania-based TL Ventures founder Gary Anderson will deliver the keynote address.

The event is set for Thursday, December 3 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. at the Indiana University Cyberinfrastructure Building in Bloomington.

B-Start connects the students behind Indiana University and Ivy Tech Community College technology startups with business training, workshops and one-on-one mentorship opportunities.
