The company says the exterior of Clarendale of Schererville is complete, with plans on pace to open in the spring.
Crews broke ground on the 177-unit complex in December 2015. The development will span about nine acres west of Interstate 65. It will feature 85 independent living units, 38 assisted living residences and 54 memory care units. Developers say it will also include a movie theater, fitness room, full-service salon, bistro and pub.
The community is the first in Indiana for the Clarendale brand. Ryan Companies Director of Development David Erickson says interest has been strong.
Iowa-based Life Care Services will manage the community.
