The Journal Gazette reports the developer will now seek to rezone the property. Parkview Health Chief Operating Officer Rick Henvey has already expressed his approval of the project.
It would be located near Parkview Regional Medical Center on the city's north side.
The publication reports developers have been looking to open “complimentary” businesses along the corridor.
Another nearby development, which could include a hotel, has been delayed and could be presented to the city for preliminary approval in August.
