The first phase is set to wrap up in April and involves remodeling 65 rooms and upgrading the cafe area. Work on the next batch of around two dozen rooms will start in December and the final 62 rooms are set to be complete at the end of next year.
South Bend-based Holiday Properties, which is a co-owner of the hotel, says the project will "reinvent the hotel." The property was originally built in 1991.
