South Bend-based 1st Source Bank has promoted Paul Gifford to senior vice president. He has more than 27 years of investment experience including the last 16 years with 1st Source. Gifford holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a graduate of the University of Minnesota-Mankato where he received a B.S. in Finance. With his promotion, he will continue to manage the bank’s investment advisor group and he will assume an expanded leadership role within the bank’s Wealth Advisory Services. Also promoted, Valerie Weis to vice president. She began her career at the bank in 2007 as a financial advisor and in 2013 transitioned to her current role of program manager of the 1st Source asset advisors group. Weis graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola with a B.S. in Psychology. She is active in the community and has chaired Leadership Marshall County for the past six years.
