1si Details New Strategic Plan

Subscribe NowDuring its annual meeting in Tuesday in Harrison County, One Southern Indiana unveiled its new strategic plan. Chief Executive Officer Wendy Dant Chesser says 1si Strategic Plan – 2020 and Beyond will help chart the course to "better meet the changing needs of the business community."
The plan focuses on several strategic focus areas in which 1si says its work will be concentrated, communicated and measured. The organization says it will develop annual work plans using the focus areas as a framework to achieve its goals.
The focus areas include:
- Growth Through Economic Development
- WorkHub: Cracking the Workforce/Talent Code
- Serving our Members through Business Resource Services and Programming
- Providing Catalytic Leadership
- Collaboration for Regional Prosperity
- Organizational Stability

The organization also elected its board of directors and officers for 2018-2019. 1si is the chamber of commerce and economic development organization for Clark and Floyd counties.
