Comcast has hired Joni Hart as vice president of state government affairs. As the former executive director of the Indiana Cable & Broadband Association, she worked with the Indiana General Assembly to promote technology neutral policies that encourage broadband deployment and broadband adoption across the Hoosier state. 

“Joni’s leadership has consistently helped Indiana be a national leader in broadband policy,” said Pete Nemeth, vice president of state government affairs, Comcast Central Division. “Her passionate commitment to digital equity has contributed to many projects Comcast has undertaken in rural areas throughout Indiana.” 

Hart is a graduate of Ball State University and of the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series.
