Martin University has promoted Mattie Jones to provost and executive vice president of academic affairs. She previously held the roles of associate provost/dean of education, chair of Humanities and Professional Studies, and director of Early Childhood Education.

“It is my honor to serve as Provost and Executive Vice President of Martin University,” said Jones.  “I look forward to continuing this great work with the university’s dedicated faculty, staff, and administration. Under the future-focused leadership of President Sean Huddleston, Martin is poised to deliver an excellent educational experience that prepares its student for careers that meet the demands of today’s workforce.”

Jones holds an associates degree from Ivy Tech Community College, bachelor’s degree from the University of Indianapolis, master’s degree from Ball State University and P.hD. from Indiana State University.
