Regenstrief Institute Research Scientist Richard Frankel has won the 2020 John A. Benson Jr. M.D. Professionalism Article Prize, which is awarded by the American Board of Internal Medicine Foundation and recognizes peer-reviewed journal articles documenting the impact of medical professionalism. Frankel currently serves as a professor of medicine and geriatrics at the Indiana University School of Medicine and holds a bachelor’s degree from Colgate University.
