U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue will be in Elkhart county today, taking part in an agriculture and manufacturing town hall meeting at Milford-based CTB Inc.

Perdue will be joined by Congresswoman Jackie Walorski (R-2) and Indiana State Department of Agriculture Director Bruce Kettler.

Earlier in the day, Perdue will be touring a farm and a food bank in southwest Michigan.

CTB manufacturers a variety of equipment and technologies for the agriculture industry, including grain storage, livestock feeding systems and meat processing.
