Ivy Tech Community College President Sue Ellspermann was at the White House Tuesday to discuss school reopening plans with President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence.

Ellspermann represents community colleges at the National Dialogue on Safely Reopening America’s Schools.

Ivy Tech has announced the fall semester will begin August 24. The college is offering a variety of options including face-to-face, virtual, and hybrid courses at the campuses across the state.

The institution says it is conducting deep cleaning of all buildings prior to the start of the semester. Students will be provided with a washable mask to keep and to wear as required in public spaces.
