Duke Energy Indiana has announced the promotion of Laura Johnson to managing director, government affairs in Indiana. Johnson most recently served as the company’s senior government affairs specialist, and will now lead government affairs work and strategies. She began with the utility in 2013 and has 14 years of government affairs experience, including with the Indiana Association of Realtors and the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. Johnson holds a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University.
