Merrillville-based Methodist Hospitals has named Marla Hoyer-Lareau senior vice president and chief administrative officer. She previously served as chief executive officer at Vibra Healthcare in Crown Point. Prior to that, Hoyer-Lareau served as chief operating officer at Presence Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago.

She earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Valparaiso University and holds a master of healthcare administration with academic honors from the University of St. Francis.
