Raytheon Awarded $50M Navy Contract

As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowThe U.S. Department of Defense has awarded a nearly $50 million contract to Raytheon Co. in Indianapolis. The contract calls for work related to the U.S. Navy’s Radar Restoration Program systems.
The DOD says all systems in the Radar Restoration Program are in the sustainment phase of their life cycle. Raytheon will provide radar antenna system overhauls, coatings, shipboard installations and removals, and incidental technical support services.
The majority of the work will be performed at Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane in southern Indiana with some of the work being done in Indianapolis. The contract is expected to be complete by March 2024.
