Star Bank has hired banking veteran Amanda Rubeck as vice president, senior retail officer. She will oversee the bank’s Indianapolis market. She has held numerous banking positions in the last 16 years, including relationship banker, branch officer and branch manager. Rubeck holds an associate’s degree in business management from IUPUI. 

She currently volunteers as treasurer and Discovery Ball Committee member for the Indianapolis American Cancer Society Guild, ambassador for the OneZone Chamber of Commerce, and committee member for the Carmel Business Issues Committee. Rubeck has also served as a Junior Achievement volunteer since 2011.
