Villa Buildings will be built by KDC Investments, Inc on West 16th Street in Rushville.
The approximately 1,100 square foot apartments will include two and three bedroom units. The four new buildings will each house eight villas, for a total of 32 villas. The two-story, craftsman style buildings will feature open concept living spaces. KDC Investments Vice President Joe Peacock says the decision to build in Rushville was made due to the city’s continuing effort on reinvestments and its Stellar Cities work.
“Rushville was not even on our radar until Mayor Pavey reached out to us and invited us to town for a meet and greet, said Peacock. “Three hours later, we left the meeting with so much enthusiasm for Rushville that we fast-tracked this project ahead of others to break ground as soon as possible."
Rushville is also planning to build a 40 acre park adjacent to the Villas apartments. Work on the park is expected to begin in the fall.
