The Muncie-Delaware County Economic Development Alliance says the project will involve "significant capital investment" and new jobs at the former BorgWarner site.
Officials from the Indiana Economic Development Corp. and representatives for the project will also be on hand. The announcement is scheduled to take place at 3:30 p.m. at the Horizon Convention Center in downtown Muncie.
BorgWarner, which continues to have a large presence in Indiana, closed the site in 2009. In 2017, Ohio-based Jim Wallace Co. acquired the property with plans to demolish most of the buildings on the property.
Officials did not provide any additional details on the new use for the site.
