Holcomb Set For Tech Skills Grant Announcement

The governor will join officials from Google and The Last Mile to detail new funding for a program to teach technology and business skills to Hoosiers behind bars.
The Last Mile is a California-based nonprofit that provides coding programs for people in prison. The organization expanded into Indiana earlier this year with its first program at the Indiana Women’s Prison in Indianapolis.
Holcomb will be joined by The Last Mile Executive Director Beverly Parenti, The Last Mile Board Member MC Hammer, Google.org Criminal Justice Lead Maab Ibrahim, and others for the announcement.
