Elanco Animal Health has named Michael-Bryant Hicks general counsel. He joins the division of Eli Lilly and Co. at its Greenfield headquarters. Hicks has almost 20 years of corporate legal experience. Most recently, he served as general counsel at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, where he performed legal functions on behalf of the company. Before that, he had served as senior vice president and general counsel, among other roles, for Providence Service Corporation. He also worked at two international firms earlier on in his career. Through his roles in various companies, Hicks has gained experience in both the healthcare industry and as legal counsel to corporate entities.

He received his Juris Doctor from Yale Law School and worked on small business incubation projects in Ecuador after receiving a Fulbright Scholarship.
