Nearly 2,000 delegates will be on hand to nominate the party’s statewide candidates and approve its 2018 platform.
The convention will feature a keynote address from former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, as well as remarks from party’s nominees. The party says the nominees will speak about plans to "return much-needed accountability and transparency to state government."
"Our Convention is about coming together as one big Hoosier Democratic family to move our state forward," said Indiana Democratic Party Chairman John Zody. “On Saturday, we’ll unite to nominate our ticket and on Sunday we’re back to work and running hard.”
