Manufacturer Could Bring 120 Jobs to Fort Wayne

ElringKlinger, a global automotive supplier with a German parent company, says it plans to locate to a shell building in the Persistence Industrial Park and create 120 jobs. The company’s largest customer include General Motors and Ford. It currently has a presence in Michigan, Georgia and California.
ElringKlinger is seeking tax abatement, which is set to be voted on by the City Council Tuesday. The bulk of the investment, the company says in a filing with the city, will go toward equipment. ElringKlinger says annual payroll from the new jobs would total close to $5.2 million.
