A well-known figure on the northern Indiana recreational vehicle scene is joining the Elkhart-based LCI Industries board. Grand Design Recreational Vehicle Co. co-founder Ron Fenech, who previously held executive positions with Thor Industries Inc. and Keystone RV Co., will also serve on the LCI board’s corporate governance and nominating committees.

Grand Design RV was acquired last year by Winnebago Industries Inc. for $500 million in cash and shares. Fenech is also on the South Bend-based Beacon Health System board. LCI Industries has more than 50 manufacturing and distribution facilities in the United States, Canada and Italy.
