Echo Engineering Acquires Michigan Company

Subscribe NowIndianapolis-based Echo Engineering and Production Supplies Inc. has acquired Ammex Plastics in Michigan. Financial terms were not disclosed, however the plastic injection molding company says the deal will allow Echo to increase its product offerings and its market share within the automotive plastics industry.
As part of the acquisition, Ammex Plastics will continue to operate under the Echo umbrella. Ammex employs 47 full-time workers and Echo says the company is currently awaiting delivery of new equipment in order to increase its production.

Echo Engineering did not state whether any jobs would be created as a result of the acquisition.
