Fair Oaks Farms in northwest Indiana and Chicago-based fairlife LLC Co-founder Sue McCloskey is being recognized by a national publication. Good Housekeeping has named McCloskey one of its Awesome Women Award winners. The honor, the publication says, goes to "creators, visionaries, helpers and trailblazers."

This year’s recipients also include Spanx founder Sara Blakely, TriBeCa film festival co-founder Jane Rosenthal and actress and entertainer Whoopi Goldberg.

A piece on McCloskey and the other honorees is running in the September edition of the magazine and discusses her company’s innovations in compressed gas from manure to fuel trucks at the farm and its ultra-filtered milk partnership with Coca-Cola.
