Beech Grove Marsh Set to Reopen Under New Banner

Our partners at WTHR report Safeway plans to rehire 98 percent of the former Marsh employees. The company will Thursday hold a job fair at Beech Grove City Hall to fill the remaining 25 positions.
The Beech Grove store, located at 1815 Albany Street, was one of the 18 Marsh locations not included in the $24 million sale to subsidiaries of Cincinnati-based The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR) and Fresh Encounter Inc., also based in Ohio. Marsh filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in May.
