Rev. Nathan Day Wilson has been promoted to communications director at Christian Theological Seminary. He joined the Seminary in 2016 as development officer. Wilson oversees internal communications, media relations and community relations while facilitating dialog with leadership representing community, faith-based and higher education institutions. He will continue to coordinate the Faith & Values section of The Indianapolis Star and author a newspaper column.

He previously served as associate fellow at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy in Geneva, Switzerland, while earning a degree in international security at the University of Geneva.  His dissertation, “Waging Peace Amidst Raging Conflict: Evaluating the Impact of Religious Institutions,” was recognized by the British International Studies Association Working Group on International Relations, Security and Religion as a work of “significant contribution” to the field.

Prior to his work in Geneva, Wilson served as director of public policy and interim director of communications for Sojourners, based in Washington DC. He also served as the executive director of the West Virginia Council of Churches, a role that made him the youngest individual to serve as executive director of a state council of churches. He is a graduate of Lexington Theological Seminary.
