The move by Dorel Juvenile USA will bring 60 jobs to its Bartholomew County facility.
The company says decision to relocate is part of Walmart’s 10-year commitment to buying $250 billion of products made by American workers. Our partners at WIBC report once the car seats are made, they will be sold at Walmart stores throughout the country.
Dorel has not immediately released information on what types of positions will be available or when hiring will begin. The company will next week host a media event celebrating the relocation announcement. Officials from Dorel and Walmart will join Indiana Secretary of Commerce Jim Schellinger at the event.
