Subscribe NowAllison Transmission has promoted Thomas Eifert (pictured) to vice president of program management & mobile source emissions. He began his career with General Motors as a co-op student until he joined Allison in 1996 as part of Supplier Quality and a member of the 1000/2000 Series launch team. Over the course of his career, Eifert has worked in different areas of the business, including Purchasing, Business Planning, and Engineering. He graduated from the University of Dayton with a degree in mechanical engineering and earned an MBA from Butler University.
Also promoted, Richard Price (pictured) to executive director of global customer integration & application engineering. He most recently served as managing director, global customer integration and application engineering. Price started with the company in 1989 and has held several positions of increasing responsibility, including reliability engineering, quality, manufacturing engineering and application engineering. He also served as application engineering manager for the Asia-Pacific region in Japan and then became director of Allison Transmission Japan. Price earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in manufacturing management from General Motors Institute.
And Denise Jerrell has been appointed executive director of worldwide facilities. She most recently held positions as both global maintenance and engineering manager for Eli Lilly and Co. and prior to that held multiple positions within the Ford Motor/Visteon Corp. In her new role, Jerrell will assume management oversight of all corporate worldwide facilities activities including facilities operation, engineering, maintenance and upgrades, as well as all project and program initiatives involving manufacturing footprint and operational infrastructure. She earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois and a master’s degree in manufacturing systems engineering from the University of Michigan.
