Katie Birge will become executive director of Launch Indy June 1. She calls coworking spaces "a critical component" to entrepreneurship and the Hoosier startup community. She previously served as director of the Bloomington Economic Development Corp.’s Bloomington Technology Partnership and digital marketing strategist for Bloomington-based Envisage Technologies LLC.

In an interview with Inside INdiana Business, Birge says Launch Indy’s location in The Union 525 building is a "big draw" for the organization. She will be tasked with responsibilities including member attraction, engagement and retention, pule sponsor engagement and running events. Launch Indy is an expansion of Launch Fishers.
