The Holy Cross College Board of Trustees has named Father David Tyson interim president. He has served as a trustee since 2014 and succeeds Brother John Paige, who is taking a leave of absence before beginning a new job in Catholic higher education. Tyson is the director of nonprofit professional development at the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame. Paige had served as president of Holy Cross College since January 2011. Prior to coming to the college, Paige served as Vicar General of the Congregation of Holy Cross in Rome.
