The agribusiness company will invest $400,000 to build a new facility which the Marshall County Economic Development Corp. says will help retain current employees and add a small number of jobs.
The MCEDC says the 15,000 square-foot building is the result of increased sales and new product lines at Farm Innovators. The company currently employs 23 in Plymouth and will create five new positions with the expansion.
The Plymouth City Council has approved a seven-year real property tax abatement to assist the company with the expansion. The MCEDC says Farm Innovators, which specializes in deicer and heated products, sells and distributes more than one million units annually.
