Diana Hadley says she will step down at the end of June after 13 years at Franklin College, the home of the IHSPA.
The organization says it is currently looking for a successor to Hadley. The executive director is responsible for, among other things, helping coordinate high school journalism activities, including the IHSPA annual convention and the First Amendment Symposium at the Indiana Statehouse.
"I will always be an IHSPA Helper, but I’m excited about a change in my life and the future of IHSPA," said Hadley. "I am thrilled with the expansion of the IHSPA position to full-time with benefits to encourage qualified people to consider it."
The IHSPA was founded by two Franklin College students in 1922. The organization currently has about 100 active member schools throughout the state.
