The former chief executive officer of Salesforce Marketing Cloud has been named executive in residence for Indianapolis-based High Alpha. Scott McCorkle, who spent 11 years with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and its predecessor ExactTarget, will serve as a mentor to leaders of high-tech companies in the High Alpha portfolio. He left Salesforce in August of 2016. He was also named "Trailblazer in Technology" last year at the Mira Awards by TechPoint. Prior to his career at Salesforce, McCorkle served in leadership roles with tech companies including Software Artistry, Mezzia and IBM. High Alpha Managing Partner Scott Dorsey helped found ExactTarget and hired McCorkle at the email marketing company in 2005.
