Subscribe NowOneZone has presented Fishers-based CloudOne and Carmel-based pi lab with its 2016 Business of the Year awards. The organization say the honors recognize businesses based on criteria including growth and stability, entrepreneurial spirit and overall contribution to the community.
The Hamilton County-based chamber of commerce named pi lab, creators of Edwin the Duck, the Business of the Year for a small-to-medium business. OneZone cited the company’s vision "to encourage better thinkers from day one with the mission to inspire children to create and explore through innovative technology and lovable characters."
The award adds to the list of honors pi lab has earned over the past year, including the Vision 2025 Dynamic Leaders of the Year award from the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. Edwin the Duck also hit shelves at Apple stores and Best Buy in the last year.
CloudOne received the Business of the Year award for a large business. Last month, CloudOne was also one of three central Indiana tech companies named to Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 List.
