Lutheran Health Network has named Aaron Garofola chief executive officer of Dupont Hospital in Fort Wayne. Garofola, who has served as interim CEO since August, succeeds Chad Towner, who left in September to become president and CEO of St. Joseph Health System in Mishawaka. Garofola had previously served as CEO of Bluffton Regional Medical Center, also part of Lutheran Health Network, since 2012. Before joining LHN, he served as director of human resources at Terre Haute Regional Hospital and C&M Conveyor Inc. in Mitchell, Indiana. Garofola earned his MBA in healthcare management from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is also a veteran of the Indiana Army National Guard.
