The Marshall County Economic Development Corp. says the company will invest nearly $1.2 million into the project, which will create a small number of jobs.
Faulkner announced a $1.5 million expansion in August 2015, which doubled the square footage of the facility and added five jobs. Construction on that project was completed in early October.
The company says the new expansion will build on the previous one, add 5-10 jobs and allow Faulkner to build on new market demands, expand service to customers and grow the local economy. Construction on the new project has already begun.
Faulkner supplies components including production and shipping racks to the automotive, coal mining and window industries.
The Marshall County Council has approved a 10-year personal and real property tax abatement for the project. The MCEDC says Faulkner will invest $960,000 in the building expansion and $216,730 in machinery.
