Ivy Tech Community College President Sue Ellspermann has been appointed to the board of directors for Conexus Indiana. Chief Executive Officer Steven Dwyer says the former lieutenant governor brings "significant" higher education, economic development and high-tech industry experience to the board. The state’s advanced manufacturing and logistics initiative says Ellspermann has previously served with fellow board member Catherine Langham on Governor Pence’s Blue Ribbon Panel on Transportation Infrastructure. Dwyer says her efforts as lieutenant governor helped strengthen Indiana’s advantage as the "Crossroads of America." The appointment adds to the list of boards on which Ellspermann serves, including OneAmerica, the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership and the Indiana Conference for Women. In September, Ellspermann joined the advisory board for WGU Indiana.
