Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke has been elected president of the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns for 2017. He was elected to the IACT Board of Directors and served as first vice president in 2015. The elections were made by the IACT membership at the group’s annual conference and exhibit in French Lick. Winnecke succeeds Kokomo Mayor Greg Goodnight and will begin his new role on January 1. Mayor Goodnight will continue as an IACT officer for another year as the immediate past president. The group also elected Nashville Clerk-Treasurer Brenda Young and Huntingburg Mayor Denny Spinner to serve as first vice president and second vice president, respectively.
