Tilson has appointed State Senator Erin Houchin business development manager. She represents District 47. Prior to being elected state senator, Houchin served as southeast regional director for U.S. Sen. Dan Coats, working as a liaison between business interests and the senator’s office. She also has worked as a family case manager for the Indiana Department of Child Services and program director for the Community Alliance Promoting Education through the Scott County Partnership. In each role, Houchin exhibited keen attention to detail and devotion to the needs of those she served. In particular, her work for Senator Coats required her to be responsive to businesses and organizations throughout the 9th Congressional District and part of the 6th District, preparing her well for the B2B, client-focused industry in which Tilson operates. As a state senator, Houchin represents Washington, Harrison, Perry, Orange and Crawford counties and part of Dubois County. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Indiana University and a master’s degree in political management from The George Washington University.
