Stephanie Eckerle has joined Krieg DeVault’s Health Care and Real Estate practice groups as partner. She brings more than nine years of experience to the firm. Eckerle will play a key role in the firm’s growth initiatives within the legal health care industry. She counsels clients on a multitude of health care matters including providing regulatory, compliance and corporate advice to physicians, physician groups, pharmacies, on-site employer healthcare clinics and other healthcare institutions. In the area of health care regulatory matters, she counsels on the prescribing and dispensing of pharmaceuticals, including controlled substances, occupational health and wellness initiatives, Medicaid, Medicare and third party payor reimbursement issues, licensure and accreditation and the disposal of medical and pharmaceutical waste.  Additionally, she has experience counseling on matters involving telemedicine, telepharmacy and technology, including privacy and security concerns, compliance with telemedicine regulations and cross-border practice arrangements, reimbursement for telemedicine services and the negotiation of telemedicine contracts. Eckerle is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and is a past recipient of the Indiana Lawyer’s Up and Coming Lawyer Award, the Indianapolis Bar Association’s Young Lawyer of the Year Award and has been named a Rising Star by Indiana Super Lawyers in Health Care and Business/Corporate Law. She is a graduate of the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis and will assist clients from the firm’s Indianapolis headquarters.
